Roger Smith is the manager at Radio New Zealand Concert ??? New Zealand???s national public radio broadcaster. In a 20 year career in broadcasting he has won numerous awards and commendations for long-form documentary features and music recordings. He took a brief break from radio to become the Education Programme Manager with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, before taking up the Manager???s role of Radio New Zealand Concert in 2008. Roger holds degrees in Music and Musicology, a Graduate Diploma in German and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Management from Victoria University of Wellington. Since 2008 he has been a member of the music advisory committee of the Lilburn Trust.
